In my performance career thus far, I have played women and men, young and old, rich and poor. On the power spectrum, I once made it as far as emperor. I was very pleased to represent Bronx Opera at the the NY Opera Alliance’s OperaFest kickoff event in April, at the National Opera Center. I sang Cinderella’s final aria from La cenerentola, in my own new translation, accompanied by the marvelous Dmitry Glivinskiy.
Save the dates for Cinderella Round Two! On June 3 & 11, I’ll be singing the title role in Massenet’s Cendrillon, a rarely produced and very beautiful opera. Don’t miss it!

And?
In the opening scene of the opera, a hungry beggar appears and the door and Cinderella offers him something to eat. Perhaps you’d like to follow her fine example and do something to help the less fortunate. City Harvest and the Food Bank of NYC are but two of many organizations that could use your support!
